ThreeASFOUR ASONE

SAINT LOUIS, Mo —  St Louis based fashion design and production house, Stars Design Group (SDG), is excited to announce it has teamed up with iconic New York fashion design collective threeASFOUR to develop and produce its new scalable lifestyle brand threeASFOUR asONE.

SDG executives, Bret Schnitker (CEO) and Emily Lane (Chief Strategy Officer) were on hand when the new brand launched at Paris Fashion Week, with samples created by St. Louis fashion industry experts.

Washington University Associate Professor of Fashion Design and SDG designer in residence, Mary Ruppert-Stroescu PhD, worked closely with threeASFOUR Founder and Fashion Director, Gabi Asfour to develop the complicated circular patterns for the garment construction.

To create the physical samples, the pair combined efforts with The Collective Thread; a St. Louis based organization which provides sewing training and jobs to refugee women.

The new threeASFOUR asONE brand, is focused on ready-to-wear and accessories; the first launch includes reissues of the iconic circle and kidney bags, as well as updated takes on the brands’ most popular designs over the decades.

The design and print details in the collection are intended to bring awareness to the importance of protecting and preserving sea life. The use of approachable fabrics and sublimated printing techniques allows the brand to reach a wider group through an accessible price point.

The collection will be available to consumers and fine retailers worldwide beginning February 2023.
